Sehr teure Bar, in der man hauptsächlich für die Lage zahlt. Ein Jägermeister und Red Bull kosteten unglaubliche 8 Euro und das galt als Angebot! Es handelt sich eher um einen Irish American Pub als um einen reinen irischen Pub, da dort Baseball gezeigt wurde und eine Live-Band amerikanische Covers spielte. Der Service war etwas merkwürdig. Wir mussten nach jeder Runde unsere Getränke bezahlen und hatten jedes Mal eine andere Kellnerin. Unsere erste Kellnerin, Karen, nahm einfach eine 50-Euro-Note mit und gab uns kein Wechselgeld, da unsere Rechnung nur 40 Euro betrug. In der Zwischenzeit war unsere zweite Kellnerin, Nicky, darüber erfreut, als ich ihr sagte, dass sie 5 Euro Trinkgeld auf eine Rechnung von 27 Euro hinzufügen sollte... und bemerkte, dass wir wohl Amerikaner sein müssten. Ist es so offensichtlich, dass wir Trinkgeld geben?!
Walked in after wandering around last Sunday. Sat down, waited 10 minutes without service so I left. Staff behind the bar saw me sit down and no,it wasn't busy, possibly 8 people in the whole place. Against my better judgement after walking through 4 museums and galleries today I dropped in for a second look and a desperately needed beverage. This time I sat in front of the bar man but clearly it was an effort to get served. The other staff seemed intent on watching a sports channel.. Complete muppets, I left after one drink.
My first time in Berlin as well as the Irish Pub. I found it strange that we couldn't have a tab going. Every time we ordered a drink we needed to pay for it. The food was typical bar food; nothing spectacular. The live music was entertaining. Overall we had fun.
Such an expensive menu and incredibly rude staff that try and make jokes out of you at every opportunity. Stumbled into here because it was the only place open, but I wish I'd have just headed home instead.
