Konditorei Zauner

We've been missing Martel cafe in Geneva so imagine our surprise when we chanced upon this cute cafe in Bad Ischl. I love the vast display of cakes and pastries, it just whets your appetite. We also tried the cold sandwiches on display, everything was good. It's not as crowded as what I've read on the reviews, maybe cos we were here past lunch hour 230pm on a Sat afternoon. It's really relaxing to sit outside, enjoy the pastries and coffee as we watch the horse carriages trod by.

This place is heaven for those who are fond of cakes and other desserts. I tried a cake with bananas and it was delicious - quite light and not too sweet. The place also serves tasty food, so it is suitable for lunch. Omelettes are particularly recommended.

Three of us stopped at Zauner's riverside cafe adjunct in Bad Ischl, twice. We had excellent service, superb Melanges and delicious pastries. The view is lovely.

Fabulous! One of the best konditorei I have visited. You certainly have to come here many times to taste all the wonderful things they prepare

Pastries and their sundaes are very good and are presented in a very nice manner. .. atmosphere is good too Loved it!!
