We ate in this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend who lives in Stade. We had six Americans and locals. Of course, none of us could read something on the menu, but our waitress spoke great English. Most of us ordered various types of carvings and all our plates were delicious. The desserts were fantastic, especially the apple strudel. Service was very friendly and the food came quickly compared to most local restaurants. The best thing was very cheap. The only warning is that they only accept local German debit/credit cards and cash. Recommend this restaurant.
Drei von uns gingen zum Abendessen. Jeder hatte eine andere Schnitzerei. Das Jader-Snitzel war der Knaller. Die Schnitzerei wurde zu einem Krüppel gebraten und mit einer Strähne bedeckt. KÖSTLICH! Ich hatte einen Schnitzel mit Blauschimmelkäse. Es war gut, aber eher trocken. Ich hätte nach Senf fragen sollen. Wir hatten alle Bratkartoffeln. Du warst gut gemacht!
Excellent food and excellent service in one of the oldest buildings in Stade. The quality of the food was top notch and the atmosphere for a romantic dinner was excellent. Definitely return to this restaurant during the next trip to Germany.
Wer auf Schnitzereien aller Art, Bratkartoffeln und tolle Pilger steht, ist in Stade genau richtig. Wunderschöne Umgebung, schneller und sehr freundlicher Service.
