Coming down from San Goutrdo, I thought of booking the last room available at Snack-Bar airö, a double with shared bathroom, perfect for a night's rest. and indeed the room is cozy, spacious, unexceptionable hygiene, with huge beds and very comfortable and, last but not least, sink in the room. the bathrooms, on the floor, very clean. But I didn't think I could have dinner downstairs, but when I saw the menu and then I had a chat with the managers, young and enthusiastic, I immediately changed my mind. And I did great! Super leckere Gnocchi...die beste Pizza der Welt....freundlich und sehr bemüht. Selbst mit 2 Hunden durften wir in die Gaststube. Sehr gemütlich.
we ate lazzocheri, polenta with fresh porcini mushrooms and meat really seemed to be in Valtellina. the excellent bresaola and to finish a fantastic tiramisu. . traditional cuisine and housewife. .to try absolutely if you are in Airolo...many genuineness in the ingredients. .recommended
Grüner Salat: Schnittsalat. Salatsauce dominiert durch sauren Essig. Rindsentrecôte hat nach Schweinefleisch geschmeckt und hatte zudem einen üblen Beigeschmack; erinnerte eher an Schweinsschnitzel. Bohnen ohne Salz/ Gewürz. Positiv: Teller wurde anstandslos zurück genommen. Polenta mit Pilzen war dann ok. Vieles, was auf der Karte aufgeführt war, war gar nicht verfügbar. Leider klar nicht zu empfehlen.
