Great pizza and ice cream for dessert. The outside area was great to sit in, with a cool breeze. Quick service.
Our favorite are the Braised Beef, Pork, and Emu dishes . The best quality and the best value meals are in the Lunch menu. You get 3 courses dinner around $22 Swiss Franks. Note that Switzerland is a rich country, everything is 2-3 times more expensive than US, France, or UK. Their price is cheaper than many other restaurants. Their Pizza is baked in real brick oven. My children ordered them daily, The services from the kitchen staff to the servers are extraordinary. They did not rush you or push you. We will stay and eat at Resslirytti next time when we visit Basel again.
I ordered a lunch set and asked for the salad to be replaced with a standard mixed veg salad. Including a bottle of water, the total was 41 swiss francs. Seems expensive. The mixed salad was 12 swiss francs. Not sure if that is the top-up money or it is the full price of salad, apart from the set menu.The salad is not a very big portion so just right for one person. The set lunch menu was a steak, wedges which were nicely fried and long beans stir fried with ham. Overall this set lunch is quite nice although the steak was not very hot at all. Portion size is good for one person. In fact, I didn't finish the wedges and some long beans.
I have visited this place as part of a group of 10 ppl. We ordered different dishes off the menu, it was ideal to share. Try the Asparagus soup (uf its the season) which was great, the beef carpaccio was good, the pizzas were very good! Try the Salami one and the one with gorgonzola cheese on it. The only part which was a bit lacking was the dessert section...the service was great...Enjoy!
This Italian style restaurants serves good food and you enjoy that even more because the service is friendly and very attentive. Prices in Basel at restaurants are higher than most countries but this place still remains in the mid range.
Nice ambiance and good Pizzas. In Summer the outside area is recommendable. But you have to reserve because there are only a few tables outside. The inside also very nice
This restaurant is quite small and dainty, but the food they offer and the selection is fab, the pizza is to die for, both me and my partner visited here twice during our stay. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in Basel.
I went to the Resslirytti several times already and I really enjoy the pizzas there. Good choice of other dishes as well - and good salads! It's just a bit too full I think as it gets very noisy. Some of the tables are a bit too close to each other - so sometimes privacy is not given.
