Auf Empfehlung unseres deutschen Gastgebers und seines Freundes aßen wir in der Taverna DaVinci zu Mittag. Sie sagten, es sei ein gutes Restaurant. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Mein Mann, der normalerweise sehr wählerisch beim Essen ist, war mit seiner Pizza zufrieden. Ich bestellte Pasta Aglio y Olio con Peperoncini. Das hat auch nicht enttäuscht. Die Portionen waren auch riesig. Das Restaurant hat zwei Bereiche, einer befindet sich im Inneren und der andere dominiert den größten Teil dessen, was wie ein Innenhof aussieht. Das Ambiente ist erfrischend und fröhlich, da der Innenhof von der darüber liegenden Glaskuppel viel Sonnenlicht erhält. Die Farbe Gelb macht die Umgebung hell und fröhlich. Ich habe jedoch nicht gesehen, dass sie Frutti di Mari Pasta servieren, weil es nicht auf der Speisekarte steht. Ich habe es erst auf einer kleinen Tafel am Eingang des Innenbereichs des Restaurants gesehen, als wir gerade gehen wollten. Ich hätte es dem vorgezogen, was ich bestellt hatte. Trotzdem waren wir mit dem Essen und dem Service zufrieden. Ich schlage dem Restaurantmanager vor, seine Speisekarte zu überarbeiten, um alle regulären Gerichte aufzunehmen, vorausgesetzt, die Pasta mit Meeresfrüchten ist ein normales Gericht.
Wir hielten für ein spätes Mittagessen in der Bremerhavener Hafengegend in der Nähe des Marinemuseums an und wählten einen Tisch im Freien, da es ein schöner Sommernachmittag war. Der Kellner hat Spaß gemacht und mit uns gescherzt, obwohl wir sehr wenig Deutsch können. Er hat uns das Gefühl gegeben, sehr willkommen zu sein. Das Special des Tages war ein gegrillter Lachs, also bestellten wir beide dies und ein "großes Bier". Die Präsentation des Lachses mit Zitronenscheiben, gegrilltem Gemüse und einer in Scheiben geschnittenen Gurke und Tomate sah großartig aus; fast zu schade zum essen! Die Brötchen zum Essen waren auch warm und lecker. Der Lachs war perfekt zubereitet - nicht gummiartig, aber frisch schmeckend und saftig im Mund schmelzend. Was für ein toller Fund!
Don 't go there! We settled down with my wife on the terrace and ordered hot chocolates and a pie each. The waiter, a tall bald man with a beard, is the most uneducated guy I 've seen during my vacation! When it came time to pay, he made us wait, smiling arrogantly, telling us that he didn 't have four hands ! Then, we wanted to pay by card, but he refused, claiming that he did not take the card for less than 25€. We told him it wasn 't written anywhere, but he told us to go to hell, that it was like that and that we shouldn 't argue. I 'll pass the details. This guy is the anti-advertising guy in this tavern. Rude, I was this close to punching him in the face. You should never talk badly to customers. Never. Result: we live in the Netherlands and often come to the region... This is the last time we will go to the Da Vinci tavern and I will make a very bad publicity in this horrible place. The owner of this tavern should fire this waiter because he is doing a lot of damage to his business.
Very average food, but the worst is not it. Service you are welcome to order, but have to wait till you can pay as nobody is in a rush to come to you. Finaly you are ordered to go to cash machine because the do not accept cards if the bill is 10 eur. Not written anywhere. The manner of this being told does not meet any customer service standards as well.
we had a quick lunch there. Very nice location with harbor view. We had quick service, friendly professional and he spoke fine English. We ordered pizza and ice creme. Both where not good. To little meat on the pizza, dry salat and salty cheese. the ice creme was ok, but not special. But a fair price though.
Taverna DaVinci located at the Mediterraneo Shopping Center is a perfect place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. We had lunch on a sunny day at the picturesque place and thoroughly enjoyed their Italian cuisine. We tasted their thin crunch Chicken Cheese Pizza as well as Ham cheese Sandwiches with Beer and Aperol. The staff are friendly and helpful. Their dishes are well cooked and authentic. It is a pleasure to dine there.
We were three persons visiting and had different dishes, my pasta with gorgonzola was ok as the pizza one of us ordered but the spaghetti with sauce was not liked.
We stopped for a late lunch in the Bremerhaven waterfront area, near the Marine Museum, choosing an outside table as it was a beautiful summer afternoon. The server was fun and joked with us, even though we know very little German. He made us feel very welcome. The special of the day was a grilled salmon, so we both ordered this and a big beer . The presentation of the salmon topped with lemon slices, grilled vegetables and a sliced cucumber and tomato looked magnificent; almost too good to eat! The rolls accompanying the meal were warm and delicious as well. The salmon was cooked perfectly--not rubbery but fresh-tasting and melt-in-your-mouth succulent. What a great find!
