Das Restaurant Himmelsstube ist nicht zu empfehlen. Der Service ist unaufmerksam, wir wurden nicht einmal gefragt ob wir noch etwas trinken möchten. Der Sekt war zu warm. Das Weinglas wurde - obwohl nicht leer - schon abgeräumt. Bei der Aufnahme der Bestellung lehnte sich der Kellner erstmal lässig mit beiden Armen auf dem Stuhl... Getränkeauswahl eher dürftig. Der Gruß aus der Küche bestand aus einer trockenen Scheibe Brötchen, harter Kräuterbutter und mit Sparschäler geschnittener Melone Schinken.Der Kaiserschmarren war nur lauwarm - die Servierpfanne nicht vorgewärmt. Die Ofenkartoffel mit Salat war ok. aber was könnte man da schon falsch machen ? Die Räumlichkeit war nett.
Nachdem wir unlängst im Chili eingeladen wurden und hervorragend gegessen hatten, dachten wir, wir gehen mal in das andere Restaurant des Hauses. Auch hier hatten wir super gegessen. Der Service war auch hier zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Sehr gut - vielen Dank für den schönen Abend.
Restaurant mit typisch regionaler Küche aus Süddeutschland. Typische Einrichtung, freundlicher Service und gutes, reichhaltiges Essen zu vernünftigen Preisen. Dieses Restaurant ist sehr gut gelegen und befindet sich im Hotel Schlosskrone, obwohl es auch einen eigenen Eingang hat. Übrigens, das Hotel ist übrigens fantastisch.
The breakfast buffet was so good that we ate here twice. There were plenty of options for everyone in our group. We really enjoyed it. We also ate dinner here one night, which was also good. But this breakfast was the best and most relaxed...we had on our 10 day trip to Germany.
We ate here as we were staying in the hotel but were incredibly disappointed with the food. Three years ago the food was very good but not any more.
The restaurant is adjacent to Hotel Schlosskrone. It is elegant and comfortable. If it was not for the paper napkins used for dinner, it would be more sophisticated. We ate here two nights in a roll, and had very good food and not so good...food. On Tuesday night, we had the beef broth and dumpling soup, and it was delicious. We also had the salad with shrimps, of which the shrimps are perfectly cooked and juicy and tasty. We had the same soup again the next night, though a little different from the first night, it was also good. My husband’s Wiener schnitzel was almost perfect. However, my crispy duck was the not so good one. It was over cooked, not tasty, and not crispy. If the shrimp salad and the Wiener schnitzel are 5-star dishes, the duck is only a 2-star.
We are staying at Hotel Sonne but their restaurant is closed because of construction so we walked across street to the closest nice restaurant. It is really great and the red cabbage is better than my family’s famous recipe. Service also great.
We ate here the first night in town after a long drive. Our waiter, from Hungry, was very friendly and made a few suggestions which turned out to be very good. We found the prices to be reasonable considering that this is a 4 Star...hotel restaurant.
