Maybe our rating is so good because of the beautiful weather, but we were actually surprised today. very good rustic dishes with high-quality local meat sausage and dairy products (cheese goat cheese.) we find the menu versatile and creatiw friendly service and hearty locally in front of dreamlike natural scenery.
visited for a snack after a walk, super! beautiful place, exceptional welcome and delicious cake. I'll come back.

on 15.8.2016 after a beautiful hike of maloja in the ristorante cavloccio we stopped to strengthen ourselves with a plättli. we ordered a cheese, an salsiz and an salami plate. on the cheese plate were all 7 (1cm on 6 cm) cheese stem, an salsiz and two vinegar cucumbers and the salami allowed each of us (4 people) to enjoy two herds. I almost forgot about half the datteltomätchen! we paid for the above mentioned ugly fr. 48.- . an absolute cheekyness, since it does not have to be delivered by helicopter or so. we will definitely not recommend the restaurant!☹️
pleasant hut at the beginning of the valley of the oven. good and pleasant snack after the walk to get there, a little dear, but the place does its part.
We had just finished hiking up from Maloja and decided to have lunch by the lake. It turned out to be a very pleasant surprise -- one of the better lunches we had while hiking in the area.The terrace of Ristorante Cavloccio overlooked a small beach along the shore of Lake Cavloc. With picnic tables (and very friendly table service!,) it was a perfect spot for enjoying a relaxing al fresco lunch.Our mixed salad topped with tuna and local cheese (see photo) was very fresh and tasty -- it was big enough to split between two people -- and the homemade chestnut dessert (see photo) was very delicious.We had to pull ourselves away from the table after enjoying such a good meal in such a peaceful spot (there are no power boats on the lake.) We highly recommend Ristorante Cavloccio for a simple yet satisfying lunch.Note: The restaurant does not have a website and is only open from June to October.
house and brain sausage taste the same and are less recommended. polenta is very good. also very well tastes the homemade chestnut cake.
a cute little place where the polenta in various types tempts you!we have taken their macaroni with speck cheese garlic potatoes and onion. Good, special, but polenta.
