A little pricey, not bad food for a Chinese restaurant abroad but most dishes tasted the same.... someone would have to pay for my meal if I was to return

Great food . We had a takeaway. Our meal was lovely. Great portions , but not cheap . But would recommend.
Ate here recently and while we were pleasantly surprised by the food (much better than stated by some on here), the service was appalling and soured the experience. Having been asked at the start of the meal how we intended to pay, we stated card. At the end of the meal, we were given a standard cash plate and receipt and told there would be a €3 charge to pay by card. After objecting, this was changed and on perusing the bill, we discovered we had been charged over €5 each for a small side portion of fried rice to accompany our main, which the waiter had conveniently upsold without any notice of the price or other options. Ive eaten in many asian and chinese restaurants and never paid anything close to that for a side portion of rice, even in high end restaurants, so I was disgusted by this. All in all we ended up paying over €20 each for our mains, which while nice, were basically chinese takeaway standard.There are so many nice restaurants in mayrhofen and while there doesnt seem to be choice in the area of asian food, this was both our most expensive meal and disappointing experience in 2 years of coming here.

We ate here 3 years ago and while it was nothing to write home about the food was ok. Not so this holiday - it was the most bland greasy lazy Chinese food we'd ever eaten. Overpriced too. We didn't even bother to complain as we felt it wasn't worth the effort. Avoid - avoid - avoid.
I made the mistake to try this place without checking on Trip Advisor.Food: we ordered Thai food (another mistake in a Chinese restaurant).....the rice was good :-)....the taste was bad, no flavors, not even a touch of the specific ingredients....Location: not bad....close to center...but the food is what counts huh?Service: 3 to 4 stars....but again...if the food is not OK....
The first thing that you notice is the very charming service that is offered to help you select your food and the waiter the table.The food we had was good enough for a touristic place at Mayrhofen and to me it was of sufficient quality. We enjoyed the experience and the taste of the food. The price vs quality is a good deal, and the kids loved the place and the kind charming service we received. It was the second time that we had dinner here during a ski holiday, and if you want to eat something different as either Austrian or Italian style food, then this a fine choice when in Mayrhofen. I will be back again next time i am in Mayrhofen for a ski holiday.
