Stopped here twice for food whilst Skiing last week. Really nice quality food, reasonable pricing and friendly staff. Also it was not too crowded as it is slightly out of the way from the obvious restaurants at the main stations.
Good restaurant with nice view. We tried the mixed grill with fries, sausage with fries, toast and burger. It took very long timme before we got the toast (the same for others waiting for the pizza.) Otherwise the food was good, a small warning for the bread to the burger, which was very chewy.
the alm is easily accessible from the slope and is therefore perfect for lunch break. there are seats inside, outside and in a winter garden open at sunny weather. the selection of the food and quality are very good - the burgers look great, the pommes are really delicious and the classic germknödel is also great. unfortunately we were too late for the day-to-day offer (which was unfortunately nowhere) but the prices are also reasonable. very recommended.
We hiked in, and would recommend this: but you can, I suppose, drive up the gravel track if you prefer.Fairly remote, with wonderful views from a sunny terrace overlooking the Horberg. Good range of drinks, and better wifi than at home in London. Highly recommended.
Right on the piss is this cute almhut. Besides the standards you can buy, there's also the opportunity to eat ribs! Really something to do!
rustic hut with great music and apres ski. good food and drink selection to moderate trips. beautiful view of the ski area. visit on a daily basis on the way to the skibus stop.
If you are in the area of Mayrhofen/Penkelbahn as a skier, you can make a break at this restaurant. It has a large sunny terrace and indoor tables. When you sit at the restaurant, you will have a pleasant view of the glacier of the Alps. In terms of foods, all authentical dishes are available. If you would like to eat something sweat, I recommend you to taste "Germ Knödel." It is a dough dumpling, filled with the marmelade and served with vanilla sauce and a mix of poppy seeds and sugar on top.
