There is nothing better than to come to such a cozy place after a long hiking high in the mountains. We were eating inside because of the wind and the interior of the "huette" is really lovely. We had soups -goulasch and vegetable and both were very good. Afterwards we drank fruitmilk from the local dairy and had very good cakes. We have also bought some local cheese there -excellent. The service was perfect, the staff very friendly and the prices reasonable.
Our party finished an exhausting walk to the summit of the Millstatt Alpe behind the Huette and were delighted to be served with four large cold beers on the terrace by a very friendly hostess! Very welcoming!
Great place for a beer and something delicious to eat after a walk in the mountains. Fantastic location even if you don't walk and just drive over for something to eat. A fantastic unspoilt part of the world.
Try some of the sandwiches with local bacon, ham and cheese. A "Hüttenpfandl" is also a tasty treat consisting of eggs, bacon, cheese and onions, served with local farmbread.
This is a great place to eat at mainly because of the views. They have pigs, goats and cows so they make there own cheese and milk and the meat is just luscious. The Appel strudel is to die fir with its thin layered pastry and the strawberry juice is delicious. Really worth going there!
Ausgezeichnetes Essen mit wunderbarem Service und in einer wunderschönen Umgebung. Besonders lokale Küche, vernünftige Preise, sehr zu empfehlen!
Die Lammersdorfer Hütte lädt nach einem Spaziergang zum Granattor ein, ca. 400 Meter über dem Millstätter See, zur guten Rast. Wir hatten einen tollen kalten Snack, einen riesigen Teller mit Schinken aller Art, Käse aus der nahegelegenen Milch, Würstchen und Aufstrichen. Faire Preise, sehr freundliches Personal. Vom Ufer des Millstätter Sees führt Sie eine private Mautstraße mit einigen steilen, aber nie schwierigen Abschnitten. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten, gut mit Hunden.
Fantastic views, food and personnel. However, it is very busy due to its accessibility. A toll road goes to the cottage.
