Tres difficile pour se garer dans la rue de cet établissement Accueil sympathique Serveur tres tres professionnel ( au top )Tres Belle terrasse donnant sur le lac.Dîner sans artifice( foie gras trop cuit ,et Legumes servi grossièrement sans trop de goût)Compter environ 60 Frs par personne sans les vinsPeut mieux faire.
We stayed here during the Montreux Jazz Festival in a desire to be close to the action but far away enough during the late evening. Our room which was supposed to be a "city view" was instead right next to train tracks and a busy road that continued to run all through the night. In addition, there was a recycling center just outside our window to provide even more noise. The decor of the hotel rooms were extremely outdated and depressing. The hair dryer did not work, neither did the in-room phone. I am allergic to down, and they could only provide pillow replacement and not a duvet too. There was no conditioner offered, only shampoo. Checkout is too early at 11 and breakfast ends at 10:00 AM, which feels like cruel punishment when you could not sleep due to the noise. For the price and hotel class rating, I expected much more. The only nice thing I could say about this hotel are the lovely people working there, who make me feel guilty about writing this poor review. I hope they either drop their prices and class rating or complete a serious refurbishment.

The hotel is dated, I think it needs renovation. The wifi was very slow, the walls in the rooms are not soundproof, you can easily hear others chatting in the other room or using the toilet, the hotel does not have air conditioner. In terms of staff they were friendly, trying to help the guests in anything they need. The hotel gave me a transportation card during my stay that I can use any public transportation for free. Also I can access any of the paid sights (Castle of Chillion, world of Chaplin, CGN, etc ) with 50% discount. The breakfast was also average, not many varieties. The room didn't have a coffee machine, we had to go down to the bar to get hot water in our cups and make our own tea in the room.The rooms size was good, with a good view on the lake.The price was really high for this type of room to be honest.
Ich öffne das Fenster, gehe auf den Balkon - und der Genfer See gehört mir. ... Und von morgens bis abends verändert das Licht den See ständig. Hinsetzen und geniessen!Im Golf Hotel Capt muss man unbedingt ein Zimmer mit Seeblick buchen. Das Hotel liegt am hinteren Ende von Montreux und hat - im Gegensatz zu viene anderen Hotels in der Stadt - einen direkten Seezugang, d.h. man sieht und hört keine Autos.Das Ambiente des Hotels ist entsprechend den Photos eher im Stil des letzten Jahrhunderts. Die Zimmer sind groß, modern eingerichtet und klassisch dekoriert. Die 4 Sterne sind wohlverdient.Abends kann man im Restaurant sehr gut essen, dagegen fällt das Frühstück etwas ab.Tolle Mitarbeiter und toller Service. Man fühlt sich - als Gast - zu Hause.Unbedingt auf Angebote in der Vor-und Nachsaison achten. An der Reszeption nach der Montreux-KArte fragen; damit hat man kostenlosen Busverkehr in der Region um den See.

Me and my family stayed here for 2 nights and we had a comfortable stay. We had a lake view room that was absolutely great and it was spacious enough for my son to walk around. The breakfast and dinner was great. Staff were nice and friendly. Location is near bus stop and main train station. The hotel is also near the chillon castle and its a must see.
We had a corner table for four persons, had all good meals, even though the variety was not so good. Not really enough choices. The service people were very friendly and provided great service.
