Viet Village was a favorite of our friend who was familiar with the area. The patio dining was attractive, as was the interior. We arrived ahead of the dinner rush, without a reservation, and were offered a nice corner table. We received menus promptly, our beverage order soon after. Dinner orders were taken: two tofu, one chicken. The tofu dinners arrived first, with one bowl of rice. The chicken dish arrived 3 or 4 minutes later with a second bowl of rice. The chicken and vegetables were nicely presented, but flavor was lacking and there was minimal gravy/sauce. The setting was nice, attractive and spacious enough for easy conversation. Prices were somewhat more than expected for Asian. But the mediocre flavor of both the chicken and tofu dinners make a return unlikely.
Wir trafen uns in Pasing zu einer internationalen Konferenz und suchten auf Trip Advisor nach einem Restaurant in der Nähe. Da die Preise recht gut waren, entschieden wir uns, uns zuerst Viet Village anzusehen. Wir hatten keine Reservierung, bekamen aber einen auf 1:30 Uhr begrenzten Tisch für drei Personen. Wir bestellten bald und hatten ein echtes Festmahl. Das Essen ist köstlich, der Service aufmerksam und schnell, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Wir haben unser Essen genossen und zumindest werde ich bald wiederkommen.
We went as couples to Viet Village Munich for dinner. However, we already booked table a day earlier. Some of the items ordered were: Cha Gio Re, Tom Cary Dua and so on. The staff was very friendly and the food though reasonably priced was sumptous. Overall: 5 Stars
In Pasing easily reached via S-Bahn from Munich’s centre, this is well worth a visit; it offers excellent choice of tasty Vietnamese food; we went there in a group of 5 and every dish was very good.
