Das Lokal ist ein typisches (authentisches) Wiener Lokal. Über das Essen kann ich nichts sagen aber das Bier ist gut und die Kellner bemüht und freundlich.
We were staying in the local area and thought we would try this place for a drink one evening with a view to having dinner there the next night. I'm glad we tried it first, the service was dreadful. We waited ages for our drinks, and even then were served the wrong thing, and then it took a life time for the bill. The atmosphere was poor and it did nothing to encourage a 2nd visit. My recommendation is to avoid it.
We stayed in three at lunch. the local is located in an office area and offers food and drinks: we took three salads with fried chicken, lettuce and tomato. they were starters, but the amount was very abundant. we drank two mineral waters and an apple juice. all for a price of about 45 euros. Ultimately, a good place though not exceptional.
Das Essen ist ziemlich okay aber schon überteuert .....Das Service leider nicht so begeistert von der Arbeit .....Lokal selber sehr schön eingerichtet....
Zobel bietet anständige Hausmannskost mit internationalen Akzenten. Englischsprachige Speisekarten. Verschiedenen Menüs, rascher Service bei Menüs. Terrasse im Sommer.
Zobel is located next to the business center Euro PLAZA and this makes is suitable for afterwork drinks (otherwise I do not know what one would do in the area). It is not special as an interior- it has smoking and nonsmoking area, also tables for outdoor seating. The food is good (not big choice, but enough) and the service is fast (not friendly, but fine). Also the prices are affordable.
....aller Zeiten. In der Speisekarte sieht man noch die Marillen auf dem Foto, das wars dann aber schon. Gekommen sind kleinste knoederl, von zehn waren acht mit nougat gefüllt, und zwei mit marillenmarmelade. Geschmeckt hat alles ein wenig betonartig. Die Beeren dazu waren aus dem Tiefkühler.Die anderen Speisen waren ok, die Bedienung freundlich. Schwieriger war es schon, eine "richtige" Rechnung zu bekommen. Gehe dort nur wieder hin.
Essen ist einfach aber ok, allerdings viel zu teuer wie aber vieles rund um das Euro Plaza. Für hin und wieder ok, aber leider keine wirkliche Alternative. Auch die Bedienung ist unprofessionell und unfreundlich. Schade aber ich gehe nur noch sehr selten hin.
