It is always great to discover a really good affordable new place to eat! I have probably driven past this place who knows how many times! And this time my hungry tum told me to stop, immediately!! Of course, I always listen to what my tum says, as it’s never wrong!Afghan Charcoal Village is really quite large and even in the afternoon, it was very busy! This, to me, is always a good sign. Service was average though and the meals came out reasonably quick, considering. We had the Mantos (leek dumplings), which I love and they were yummy and generous. We also had the mixed kebab platter, chicken, lamb and shami, wonderful flavours and cooked to perfection. This dish came with the gorgeous rice, that only these Afghani restaurants seem to know how to cook to absolute pillow light perfection! The sauces served, also very good. What we loved the most about this establishment, was the price! Uber awesome prices for all of the meals and a lot cheaper than our regular Afghani haunt! So? Which one do we chose next time? Would definitely return for a delicious, value for money lunch or dinner or afternoon or whenever, as their opening hours are long!! Thanks Team!
