There you go with your x mas gifts and a box of wood to have a break. And one of the first things the waiter tells you, is to put the box on the floor. Why that, you ask and the answer is: Because it is...too heavy for the chair. Well: We are talking about 11 kg. If that is too heavy, then there could be hardly any guests. And that might well be a possible future: The prizes here are at a level that you know from Zurich but not the service obviously.

The cafe is well located right at the embankment of Lake Maggiore with nice view. Very beautiful interior inside, undoubtedly nice service. Very nice place to have a couple of drinks or a coffee. Atmosphere is very cool and chic following the best examples of...old European traditional cafes.

Had breakfast there during my stay at Locarno. I had the fried eggs and the plate of cheese which we’re very good and surprisingly not crazy expensive like everything else in Switzerland. I didn’t like there coffee much and I think they need to work...on their coffee selection.

This is a nice place on the lake shore with a nice view. It is elegant but not formal. Food is high quality and staff very professional.

Great terrace to see the world stroll by: excellent lemon tart and nice fresh pressed juice. A good place to hang out.
