Alamo Palace - Tisch reservieren

Having lived in the area for 25 years this has always been our local Alamo Chinese restaurant. And the quality has ebbed and flowed over the years. I ran across an old review of mine from eight years ago that I gave only awarded two stars. So last night we wanted Chinese food and decided to order takeout from AP as its most convenient for us. And we have to say that we really were pleased surprised on the flavor and quality compared to some of our past experiences. I would recommend that if you've given up on Alamo Palace to give it another try. I think there's new owners there and maybe that may be the reason for the change?

First time trying. Ordered take out hot and sour soup for me and BBQ pork chow mien for my hubby. Soup tasted super sweet, like it had corn syrup dumped in it, despite adding hot mustard and the smell and taste of it was completely rancid. Threw it out. The chow mien wasn’t much better but was at least palatable. Never again.

My wife and I ordered hot and sour soup! It was excellent! We then ordered Szechuan prawns. Finally Mongolian beef! The prawns were excellent. The Mongolian beef was so tender and the sauce good, it brought out the taste of the veggies! A phenomenal dinner!!!! I can’t wait to eat the Mongolian Beef again

My wife told me she'd heard good reviews of Alamo Palace. I took two friends there for lunch and it was mediocre. Food okay but ambiance is pretty sad.
