Amarna - Tisch reservieren

Venue, building, decoration, closeness of ocean- all that set high expectations. Flamenco trio was excellent. Like always there is half drunk visitor ready to take the stage and proudly acts its terrible act of singing. Zahora salade tomato from mercadona with some lettuce. Croquettes not bad but why the hell served with mayonnaise? Fried small squids bodies were good but 50% of portion were arms with too much oil. Tuna hamburger bread was dry and probably few days old while tuna meat was super dry. With so much resources regarding tuna fish it is strange to fail in this part. Internal decoration is great, but outdoor benches are like from southern German brewery. If sunshades would had been closed we would had a possibility to look at the beautiful sky full of stars. Instead Cruzcampo sign was in close up. Staff- didn't put us at the table we reserved, didn't ask for desert, not communicative. Shortly-amateurs. To sum it up- high potential of the place. Improve the quality of food, educate the staff and this might let to a decent place.

This restaurant is in a great location on a headland overlooking Zahora Beach.Me and my husband and daughter waited at, ironically the Welcome sign in the hot sun. We appreciated the restaurant and staff were busy, after 10 minutes a staff member glanced at us and we enquired in our limited Spanish about a table, she frowned and walked off. Another 5 minutes later another staff member asked us what we wanted, I thought this might of been obvious by now, she also frowned and mumbled something about waiting and walked off! We turned around and walked off to the excellent restaurant Samorjan where the staff are welcoming, polite, friendly and helpful. The food there is amazingly good. All it would of taken was a smile and if it was too busy an explanation which we would of accepted rather then the very rude manner in which we were treated.

We have holidayed in Zahora for several years and remember the location when it was a ruined building! We have been a few times over the last 4 years for drinks to watch the sunset, or to wait for our horseriders to appear over the dunes, and had the odd meal and it has been ok. This year we were heading off the beach and just decided to give it a go. Really enjoyed our food, waiter was excellent and it was good value for what we had.

The staff just glared at us. Either that or we all developed some sort of bizarre uniformed transparency. Zahora is a superb resort, full of wonderful, charming bars and restaurants. This place dines out on its location. Avoid.

Situated on a headland, the views are amazing, but you need to walk from Zahora beach. A good varied menu, friendly staff and we enjoyed our food
