Antojos (latin Cravings)

Acabo de salir de este restaurante , del cual he sido cliente desde que éste se inauguró ya hace algún tiempo tiene nuevos dueños Mi experiencia hoy fue horrible !!! Y todo sucedió porque mi padre dejó parte de la bandeja paisa para llevar y le solicitò al mesero chimichurri para untar a su carne más tarde en casa . El Chimichurri en este lugar se sirve en unos mini recipientes plásticos de menos de 1/4 de onza El mesero regresa diciéndonos que él cocinero mandaba a decirnos que la chimichurri era de exclusividad del restaurante ,y por tanto no podían darnos . Mi padre al escuchar esto le dijo al mesero que era la ultima vez que iba , a lo que el mesero un chico paisa le preguntó : “¿por una chimichurri ? “Mi padre le contestó , “no ! Por la atención” En mis casi 30 años de frecuentar semanalmente restaurantes ninguno me había respondido algo así , y he estado en restaurantes a la altura en mi país por ejemplo La Vitrola en Cartagena , restaurante frecuentado por el expresidente Juan Manuel Santos. Incluso en el día de ayer estuvimos en Noches de Colombian en New Jersey , y la atención como siempre fue a la altura . Que mal le hace un empleado a un dueño de un restaurante . Sentí la necesidad de escribir esto porque mi familia también tiene restaurante en Colombia , y los dueños deben saber porque los clientes de repente dejen de ir . Por lo menos nosotros no volveremos ni lo seguiremos recomendar . Cosas tan insignificantes para un cocinero o un mesero , dañan la imagen de un restaurante.

We stopped in here over Thanksgiving weekend and to my surprise they serve Peruvian food! I was so excited as there is not too many Peruvian restaurants in the area. Actually, one other that I know of, but out of the way and a bit pricey for my taste. But this place is a gem. The service by the lady there, I believe her name is Lissy, she is outstanding and make you feel at home. We ordered all Peruvian dishes: Arroz chaufa de pollo, carapulcra, tallarines verdes con pollo a la plancha, and escaveche de pescado. And every single dish was DELICIOUS! All made to order. We took some dessert home, flan and tres leches, this is where I would say they are lacking. The flan was a bit dry, not smooth and tres leches was mediocre. I've had much better, so I would not get dessert there again, and this is why they get a 4 star review. But do highly recommend the entrees. Will definitely return very soon. Enjoy my Peruvian people!!!

second time, I tried to call this place for a pick-up order. the phones just ring and when someone finally picks up, they hang on you. there are other options for eating Spanish.

Columbian and Peruvian, try the roasted chicken with fried rice and Madurai! Great salsa verde and rice and beans!
