Argentinisches Steakhouse Cheyenne

We had lunch and ordered fried mushrooms as a starter and two meals from their lunch menu. One was a pork steak, the other a mixed grill. They came with soup or salad, chips and fried garlic bread. The meat on the mixed grill plate...were three small pieces of turkey, pork and beef. The turkey and beef were tasty . The mushrooms were delicious, good chips, a nice salad and beef broth with meat and vegetables, only the pork steak had a lot of grizzle. The service was friendly but it took a while for the meal to be served. It didn’t bother us as we had plenty of time and the interior is pleasant. The decoration is all about Indians but there is also an outside area in the back of the building. It’s an interesting restaurant. Give it a try – and if you have a chance to talk to the owner who is the chef : he is quite a philosopher!

Advertised as Argentinian Steakhouse. I do not think this is an accurate description. Poor service noted upon arrival when offered a table and told limited time only, then asked to move; new table was in front of a 'staff only ' doorway which was in use.......annoying. Not a great start. Nice garlic mushrooms, but food generally average and nothing Argentinian evident. Nobody understood Spanish language, staff appeared to be second generation Turkish. Some limited English was spoken.

I use to eat in Cheyenne every week when I lived in Hameln. Visiting after 10 years away the restaurant hasn't changed, it maintains a friendly, charming atmosphere, with excellent service and delicious food.

The service was very good and the food came quite quickly. Everybody enjoyed what they ordered and we would definitely go again!
