This looked a popular cafe in a huge mall like shopping centre just off the N332 near Ondara. This is a very international shopping centre popular with local Spaniards as well as foreign ex-pats and holiday makers alike. We don't expect anyone to speak English and do our best to speak Spanish and most shops and cafés help you to muddle on through. Not so here where it was frowns on the faces of the serving staff, rapid fire complicated questions in Spanish and an attitude that the staff would rather be nattering amongst themselves than dealing with their customers. The cafe cortado was poor with far too much milk and far too little coffee. The toscana con tomate (toasted half a baguette with a tomato mix on the top) was awful. The best thing I could say is that the toasted bread was warm. Two coffees, one tostada came to €8. We won't be returning to this cafe.
