Had an incredible lunch at Asahi in Lansdale. Ordered the Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box, which came with a miso soup and a ginger salad, rice, 3 dumplings, California roll, spicy tuna roll and a seaweed salad. I also ordered my favorite, an eel roll. All that for only $27. Very friendly staff! What a perfect and filling meal. I can not recommend this place enough!!! Try it and enjoy.
I had the chef's special sushi (attached photo), and I must say, it did not meet the expected quality or taste for its $49 price tag. Furthermore, the appetizers were overly fishy, making them difficult to consume. I can only hope that they utilize fresher fish in their dishes. While the atmosphere was pleasant, I won't be giving this place another try.
This place is a hidden gem. The food has been amazing every single time I’ve been and everything tastes so fresh. Lunch specials are awesome and they have the cheapest poke bowl around! Sometimes service can be slower if you’re sitting in, but the staff is great and the food worth the wait.
I would highly recommend the ginger and scallion yakisoba noodles- delicious!!
