The things they could control they did very well. Staff were very welcoming and were kind about my non existent German language skills. Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and in a lovely setting on the first floor landing surrounded by plants and over looking the pond. There were English channels showing on the TV Guide, but none worked. Very close to the river lovely to walk out to in the morning What they couldn't control was a little disappointing but not the fault of the hotel The view of the building across the alley from the window not pretty The heat there's no air con and it was close to 30 degrees the fan just didn't really help The building work going on outside the front It was expensive but not for Baden which is London price levels and compared to some others close by it was reasonable I'll be back in Baden soon and will look to book Blume again
Top notch experience! The hotel is conveniently nested in the heart of the town and boasts of a very charming old-world-feel interior with a lot of plants and interesting deco. We booked the relaxation days package, and would HIGHLY recommend ! It includes (for 2) a two-night stay in a spacious room and two 4-course dinners and pampering; the whole experience is definitely worth it. The food has been wonderful both nights and the staff are all very kind and welcoming. Treatments are relaxing and the Roman baths, which we could reserve for just ourselves (free of charge) definitely give our stay a more private touch which we enjoyed immensely. After two days, we felt very pampered and relaxed, and ready for a better 2021.
Hotels with a 500 year history are not commonplace. The setting is romantic, the building beautifully preserved, the service is excellent. The Roman bath and the excellent breakfast at the atrium were highlights. We came because I have stayed here several times more than twenty years ago and wanted to share the experience with my family. The only negative is the relatively high price we cannot afford to stay there as often as we would like.
Very nice hotel in the thermal bath area. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The inside courtyard is magical with plenty of plants and birds singing. You have the feeling to go back on time and it is perfect to deconnect and rest. Breakfast is good and starts early. Do not forget to take advantage of the private thermal baths and spa. Could only recommend!
