Such a memorable, pleasurable evening. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the owner/chef, who then spent considerable time with us explaining each offering of the evening's menu (many of the ingredients have come from his family garden this morning). The flavors for all our courses were incredible. The personal interaction with the couple (the chef and his wife) who operates the restaurant reflected that they truly delight in satisfying their customers -- they truly care that we are having a very wonderful meal. Very reasonably priced, as the final bill came to 64 Euros for the 2 of us to each have 3 courses, plus a bottle of wine. A very small, intimate restaurant, with a very limited menu to ensure the freshest ingredients. Upon our departure, we made a reservation to come back again in a few days -- we can't wait!
We are in the car leaving right now, I had to write a review asap. This was the best restaurant I have been to in Europe so far! The lovely couple who own it are so very nice and catered to us even through a language barrier. We pretty much had one of everything they offered tonight which included: melon and prosciutto to start, a chicken and potato dish for myself and the children, and a cooked to order steak for my husband. Our sides included vegetables that were hand picked out of their personal garden! We also had one of every desert they offered lol. Needless to say, we will be back again when we drive through in December!
Great food and great staff. Would recommend. Just some FYIs. Make reservations. And don't be in a rush. It is a husband and wife team. They make homemade dishes. They do run out of stuff items. Their menu is like daily specials. Again that are homemade. It is French Cuisine!
This restaurant is owned by a couple. He's a cook and she's a waitress. They're very friendly. The restaurant is little and looks like a living room. The food is good; you can eat meat as well as fish.
