We had dinner there and the food was tasty with good servings, we both opted for the 24 euro plat and had oysters/ fish soup, sea bass/ steak tartare and apple crumble/ creme brûlée. Both meals were enjoyable and the service was good tooGlad I booked as they were turning people awayThe only thing I didn't like was a couple of dogs there for dinner too but I guess it's a French thing
This was our third visit. It all started very well with excellent food. However, when it came to our main dish, 3 of us were served, but my husband's pot-au-feu de la mer did not arrive until we had finished ours. He had to watch us eating, and then we had to watch him. An apology was given, but this was just not satisfactory. This spoilt an otherwise lovely good value meal.
My wife and I have eaten here twice this week, 1 lunch and 1 dinner. The menu doesn't change as it's open all day. Wide choice of dishes and all that we had were good. Service was frantic but very friendly. Less than 40 euros for 2 courses and a couple of beers. Recommended.
Our trip was actually in 2014 but I was happy to see in 2017 that Au Relais Des Cyclists was still there. Everything we ate was delicious, we had a chicken in Normandy Sauce and we've been dreaming of it ever since.
