I have been in France 6 of the past 12 months. I have ridden my bike past this place a number of times now. At last (and thankfully not too late) I manage to eat a meal here.The service, ambience, and quality of the food of has not been bettered by many other places in my travels. Situated on the Moret canal, the garden overlooks the canal, whilst inside the 3-4 rooms have a very pleasant and quality ambience. Various chairs, places to be seated, with lovely music and fine art add to the character.We ate a 3 course meal plus a galls of wine for only 55 EUROS. Deserts were equal to nothing else I have eaten in France, including a 1 star Michelin in Mulins.I will be back again next week for lunch, and maybe 2-3 times more before I leave France.Merci big **** coup Auberge de l'Ecluse
Birthday lunch with a dear french friend who is local. Had the massive mountain cheese burger, delicious! Washed down by an ice cold bottle of Chablis, expensive for France but compared to English prices for a Chablis cheap as chips. Had the desert platter (cant remember what its called) but basically a coffee with about 4 mini deserts. HEAVEN. Situated next to the canal in this beautiful village imagine it be a lovely place to frequent in the summer.
Il y a très peu d'endroit où on peut se sentir aussi bien, une équipe attentionnée, une vue directe sur l'écluse depuis la terrasse sans oublier une cuisine au top avec que des produits frais.Jamais déçu de revenir car à chaque fois c'est un réel plaisir de plus leur café est délicieux ! Merci à la serveuse super souriante et au serveur très professionnel.Et petit clin d'oeil à leur animateur qui anime à merveille les soirées !
Cadre extérieur agréable.... décevant ! Déco qui a plus de 10 ans ... ce ne serait pas grave si c'était propre ! Je n'ose pas imaginer l'état de la cuisine... plat simple et quelconque... aucun intérêt...
