We were recommended here by some knowledgeable locals who spoke highly of the cooking. But it took ages for our order to be taken and the first hint of food did not show up for 45 minutes. And although we had discussed in decent French what my lactose intolerant partner could eat, the main course-a nice piece of fish-arrived covered in butter. When we reminded the waiter of our earlier conversation, it was whisked away with no apology but a large Gallic shrug. The replacement fish was severely undercooked at which point we gave up and paid up. Nobody seemed to care. More shrugs. A pity.
Classic food in stylish surroundings. This is the place for a meal to remember. We 8 adults and 3 under 14s had the Menu de Pacques on Easter Sunday to celebrate grandad's 75th birthday. 5 courses (main=lamb) and selected wines to match including a lovely Grenache to go with the chocolate pud. Not cheap (over 800 euros including tax) but impeccably served and every mouthful delicious.
We have dined here over many years and the food is sublime, the service wonderful, my husband takes me here every year when we visit Brittany I love it - it is one of my favourite restaurants. The wines are also very good. there is also a bistro on the side of the main restaurant and there is also a hotel although we have never stayed in the hotel as we have the house not far away.
Been here tonight after reading trip advisor well as my title says little choice unless you want to spend €60 or €70 each plus drinks tax and tips there were a choice of 2 starters 2 mains and 2 puds . Service not very good really food took ages to come and there weren't that many people in there are so many good restaurants here we won't be back to this one
