We were staying opposite at La Saura and stumbled upon this new restaurant. I've stayed in Lusigny Su Ouche a number of times at La Saura and this time I was with friends on the way to a Ski Trip in the Alps.We walked in mid afternoon to the amazing smell of Beouf Bourgignon. The restaurant was closed until the evening but the hosts were more than happy to serve us beer and wine in the afternoon. There is also a piano, so a few sin songs were had and the owners joined in enthusiastically.The meal in the evening was really really good and they have a great selection of drinks.This is ideal for couples, families or groups of friends.Brilliant.
We visited with a group of friends as we were staying in the local village. They only open in the evenings over the weekend (Friday - Sunday) and considering it's situated on the main road through a very pretty little village it really should be much busier - but it was fairly quiet for a Friday. This is a shame. The staff were really friendly. The chef took time to say hello and ask our opinion on the food, which was wholesome, very tasty and well presented. I hope they do well - they deserve to. We enjoyed the evening very much. Merci et Bon chance!
We stopped here while on our way to another town. What a nice local restaurant ! The food was excellent: we ordered a steak cooked in local wine sauce and the meat was really tender and tasty. The service is not quick but not slow either, I'd say "relaxed" and we thoroughly enjoyed it... Take it easy: life is good (the food too!). I would definitely recommend it, even if you're not in Lusigny.
