A traditional and elegant culinary experience. Although prices may be slightly higher than normal, quality is felt in every aspect of the meal. The small card shows the focus on fresh and carefully selected ingredients. The generous portions of the dishes will satisfy the appetites, while the warm service adds a welcoming touch to the whole experience. Attention to the details is evident from the beginning with a amuse-bouche offered, adding a note of creativity to the meal. A appreciated gesture is the supply of small cakes to accompany the coffee, testifying to a real consideration for the pleasure of the customer. In addition, the accuracy with which the server explains the components of the dishes during the service adds an educational dimension to the experience, allowing guests to better appreciate the flavours and origins of the ingredients. I went there with my parents on a Sunday night and we arrived late. over 30 minutes after our reservation. Usually in France after 9 or 9.15pm it is difficult to get good service. They were very understanding and nice, and did not rush us at all. Staff is spectacular and they made us feel at home. Food is amazing, and this restaurant should have some Michelin stars. Everything was perfect. They literally spoiled us even after dessert with cookies. It is worth the drive even if you don't live close by. I highly recommend. Also dining room is huge, impeccable, and bathrooms are also extremely clean. At the end of the evening, the owner (mother of the Chef) came to our table to thank us for the visit and said she would be delighted to see us again. Really nice and warm service.
This is a family run restaurant which offers a very high standard of cuisine. The set menus are changed regularly and according to the season. Everything, even the bread is home made, and the foie gras and terrines are superb. We have tried most restaurants in the area, but this is by far our favourite.
Coming for a family meal, the service was a little long. The dishes were good, the meat very well cooked on the other hand I wasn't very fan of the spaetzles house. It was hot in the room but we could go out by the terrace and enjoy the garden which is pleasant to stretch the legs between two dishes.
