Not sure how this place gets a higher rating. It was very disappointing. We came for our anniversary, just to go a place comfortably with good food. We should have stayed home. The room, the rose room, should be an upgrade. It was big, but looked at a gas tank and shed, was hot, and above all, thanks to the neighbor pack of hunting dogs, very loud. They barked all night and bark now. Dinner was moderate (bland casoulet and ravioli cepes with too much cheese and little mushroom flavor) and the breakfast was not great, but not terrible. It is known for its view and its pool. The pool was too cold for us, and the view was just ok. If you only need a place to sleep and get a room as far as possible from the dogs, it would be good, otherwise not much to expect. At least the people were nice and the forest pleasant.
We were recommended this place and what a gem. In the Pyrenees mountains with fabulous views. We had a lovely room with a comfortable bed. Stayed two nights and opted for half board which included breakfast and dinner. The food was good and satisfying. Went for a walk through the forest which was beautiful. Very relaxing day with no driving. We recommend it to anyone wanting a mountain get away. Pictures- Views from our room and from eating breakfast outside. The roof you see a part of is the swimming pool area with sauna.
In May my wife and I prepaired our Tour des Amis 2016 and visited this very nice Auberge les Myrtilles in Le Bosc. We had lunch and it was a nice supprise! Very nice staff that showed us the rooms for September when we will drive our Tour des Amis through the Pyrenees from West to East coast. The ambiance was a nice supprise in total! We are looking forward to our visit in September 2016
There are attractive views from the garden terrace of this chalet style auberge. The owner worked in England for a few years and speaks excellent English. The food was good and fairly priced. The plat du jour a delicious casserole of pigs ear was 13 euros and my wife said her salade de la mer was very good. Service was friendly and efficient.
