Aurora Pizzeria & Cafe

Beautiful evening so the inside restaurant was empty but the patio was hopping. Service was very pleasant. Our server was Giuliano but the other server appeared to be equally charming. The Caesar salad was crisp and cold with just a hint of anchovy in the dressing. It was large enough to share between two people. The pizzas were all 12" medium but quite thin crusted. The Biancaneve pizza (translates to Snow White!) was really good as an option without tomato sauce.....cream, mushrooms, a wonderful prosciutto and black pepper. The Pugliese pizza offered the flavours of a fine tomato sauce, onions, black olives and crisp prosciutto. Chili flakes and a pepper mill added the desired amount of heat. Wine list was exclusively Italian and the Merlot Nespolino was a good choice!

We have been here 3 times in the last 3 weeks, yes it is that good. Great service, owners and servers are family and direct from Rome. Pizza is authentic with tomato sauce that is so good, and crust that is light, crisp and amazing!! Pastas are a little hit and miss, so room for improvement, but their smiles and the pizza make going worthwhile!!
