That was a really waste of time and money. Bajo de Guia has amazing places with brilliant service to taste the best of the andalusian gastronomy. Im afraid this place is not one of them. We were 6 and we sat down at 8.30, ordering drinks and food as normal. Our first surprise was that we werent served until 50 minutes later. It seemed that the restaurant was full of waiter wondering around but none of them give a flying monkey about us until we complaint for the first time. After this, we ate a fine fake maki and a mediocre piece of tuna more dry than the Gobi desert at tea time, the caneloni with smoked shelfish was not bad appart from the fact that the waiters didnt know what short of fish was inside (suspisious). Disapointed, we decided to ask for the bill and it was delivered for THREE TIMES wrong., mistake after mistake we complaint to the manager and he was apologetic wereas we had to pay full amount of the bill and headed home with the resolution of no coming back ever again.
Another perfect dinner in Sanlucar. Avante Claro always delivers and is very convenient as it stays open on many evenings when other restaurants close. As with other places here, they serve traditional dishes and some which they add their own flair too which is very good. Christina, who normally serves us, was very helpful, professional and polite and recommended a very good wine and food courses. You cannot go wrong here.
Eaten here a few times but because of covid not been for 3 years.We had grilled Turbot cooked to perfection and beautiful desserts staff were helpful even though they had a party of fifty on the next table.Great meal cant wait to go back.
Visited this place twice, both time the food was delicious I can recommend the tuna fillet : Service is also great, our waitress was Juan, who made are special request as well.
