Bad To The Bone Bbq

This was a beautiful find during the trip through the area. The decor and ambience was very suitable, rustic and secret. When I went to the counter to order, I was asked which side I wanted to sit on. I thought they were the same, I wanted to be away from the bar. I found that the bar side is a full service restaurant and the opposite side was a more self-service side. No biggie, I wanted the self-service page anyway, but it would have been nice to explain what side? I ordered 3 meat combs. Brisket, baby back and pulled pork. The baby backs were the most disappointing as they were quite tasteless compared to others I had. I'm looking forward to these most. The most surprising thing was the bride. I had no super high expectations for them, and it was very tasteful and smoked perfectly! Pulled pork was your ordinary, nothing special, but also not bad. The winner for the sides was the mac n cheese. You have to get this when you visit. The tip was perfectly melted, slightly crispy from the broiler and the interior was perfect. Cheesy and Al dente. I really enjoyed it! The garlic mashed made me wish a little more taste. Maybe some cheese or sour cream helps to cream it? Whatever it is, there's something missing. Overall a good experience!

Hungrig for BBQ, we traveled to SJC to Heritage BBQ. After we tried to find public parking on a busy Saturday, we finally found a place and went to the Heritage just in time to see how they closed their doors 2 hours early. We asked an employee why they closed, and he shared that they went out early and had to close. Disappointed, we went to downtown SJC to find an alternative place to eat. We saw some nice decisions, but decided to look for Yelp for another BBQ spot and found bathroom at the Bone a short drive away. Staff were friendly and gave some basic recommendations. We ordered a complete rack of baby back ribs and a pound of brisket for the recording. When we arrived home, we were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the quality and taste of both proteins! Based on our experience, we will return when the BBQ mood beats. Recommended!

The food portions are huge, however the cost of a meal for 2.5 was exceptionally pricey. I ordered the brisket sandwich with fries, a side of Mac and cheese, a kids meal burger with fries, and my husband ordered the loaded baked potato with brisket. The brisket was a touch on the fatty side, however I thought it was delicious in my sandwich. A member of our group ordered the brisket plate l, and was disappointed with how fatty it came. When she made a comment to the staff they told her that 's just how it is today and didn 't really offer much more than that , which is slightly disappointing considering the price of the plate, and the fact that over 50% of her plate wasn 't edible to her. I would consider coming back again if in the area, but consider splitting a plate based on portion size and price.

Fantastic food and great people. We really enjoyed the restaurant and heated terrace. also the salon had some live music and local beers. On a Friday night at 7 the place was full and the service was great. We're coming back! Food: 5/5
