I?m really sad to share this experience but I feel like it was inexcusable. First let me start by saying the food, coffee, and cakes and Baker?s Sweets have been some of my favorites for years! I ordered a birthday cake from them one week before the day Ineeded to pick it up. When I got to Baker?s Sweets they acted like they had no idea what cake I was talking about but I hadproof of purchase from the day I ordered. Thankfully they said they would make one it would just be a wait which was okay. Thenwhen I get the cake the name that was supposed to be on it was misspelled so bad that I couldn?t have possibly fixed it at homeso when I asked them to correct it they weren?t happy about that. Overall it was such a negative experience and the managerthere that day said ?yeah this has been happening a lot lately? and shrugged her shoulders. I didn?t want my money back, I justwanted my cake that I paid for and semi-decent customer service.
I've been here three different times. The display case is dangerous, avoid looking in that general direction when you get there but after lunch definately take home a yummy treat! The staff is friendly and can be busy but be patient, its worth the wait.The food is delicious. The cost is reasonable and the atmosphere is chill. The list of beverages is devine, I'm working my waydown this list!! There is parking all around the building not just in the front!!! Go. Enjoy.
One of the best breakfast/brunch spot in Sumter. I literally stop here every morning to get my day started with their delicious freshly brew coffee ! 10/10 would highly recommend and the staff always friendly and professional : Below?s a picture I took ofmy freshly brew iced caramel macchiato with almond milk caramel drizzle !!!
Ordered a birthday cake here for my wife. The ordering process was easy, and they only need 24 hours to make the cake. The cake came out great and my wife was extremely happy. We also had lunch in the restaurant and found the service and the food to beexcellent. Highly recommended.
