Bar Restaurante Sa Placa

Bumped into this great little bar on our way back from a day at the beach Footie was on England playing so we stopped for a couple of pints lager was excellent really served nice and chilled in these earthen wear mugs got the nibbles so tried some tapas really large portions I might add the fried anchovies were great so were roasted potatoes and the chicken goujons weren’t bad simple no frills food we enjoyed it for what it was four drinks each and three plates came to about 26 euros foot ball went well England won so all in all a good night service was attentive worth popping in if your passing

Now, this is the 4th year we hit St Tomas and Binigaus. On our way to the Beach we stop by Sa Plaça whenever when we can. It is in Es Migiorn Gran, two steps away from the Mabo Shoes outlet (where my wife gets her minora shoes from each year) It is a LOCAL Restaurante with LOCAL cuisine managed by Miguel and his son Miguel. There is no lunch before 1pm but then Tapas and salads. Price quality is unbeatable. Service is adorable -though correctly though- foreign languages are broken. Tomorrow we will have Paella there to join the St Joan festivities away from very busy Ciutadella.

Found this wee gem after doing a bit of food shopping in Es Migjorn. Paid €4.50 for a pint of Amstel and a bottle of cider! I was paying €4 for a pint of Amstel at my apartment in Santo Tomàs. Came back later in the week for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Certainly visit Sa Placa again the next time we are in the area

Called in for lunch after a lengthy walk from Santo Tomas Ordered prawns anchovies and salad which were very good . Speedy service and friendly staff .

Excellent service and very tasty local cousin. Menu del dia are 3 dishes for only 9 euros. 100% recommended.
