I've been eating at Barbara since 2009. I've never had a bad experience. I went with some others in my part of three and was immediately greeted by a young waitress who asked if I had a reservation. Since when do you need a reservation at Barbara 's? We've always gotten up and sit on every table we want. Apparently it didn't seem to bother her that we had no reservations and that she had to find us a table to sit. She said she had to sit us. She said she should go the round table in the distance. We sat at the table and then she came here and told us to move to the other round table. It was just a few minutes later that a part of two (without reservation) settled at the first round table and it was no problem for this waitress. She took our drink order and then took our food order. I asked for an additional page of poppy chickens and said I would pay for what seemed to be annoying. One of my pages I ordered was potatoes and gravy. The food came and I was taken sweet potato cassesrol instead of potatoes. I let the girl know. Instead of saying I'm sorry, let me exchange this for you, she immediately pulled out our ticket to show me that it said sweet potato caserole. I told her that maybe he did what she wrote down, but that's not what I said. She didn't want to exchange it, but she went ahead and did. There were some other small comments during our meal experience where she was obviously not happy to be our waitress. In addition, the woman in the cash register took our payment and just went away after she had given me the entrance to the registration. She had a cold shoulder for some reason. As I said, I have eaten here for years and the regular ladies who work there were always very nice, but today was a pretty fall of grace so to speak. It could take a while to get back. Hopefully no repetition of today.
