Barbecue House The

I like the ribs. Really good ribs, my wife and I eat ribs at many different places and these in the top five. I like the fact that the place had been in operation since 1959 (says something, not. I was happy with the fact that the sauce was on the side. The Pimento cheese Jalapenos were great, baked beans good, Slav a little moderate, good light bread with. My wife and I liked the dry rub on the ribs. The sauce had a compulsion that you either love or hate, I guess I loved it because I ate it all. The staff was friendly and the owner (I think came out from behind and asked how everything was and we had a big conversation before it was really busy. The ribs were not falling from the bone, BUT the taste was great! (A small cave: with the cheese pudders they are picked, but we are from Louisiana and can hack it!

This was my first visit here and the brisket was awesome!! Very tender and full of flavor!! The hot links were really good as well! I'll definitely be going back!!

I've eaten a lot of BBQ in my life and this is still in my Top 3! I worked here in college and could never get enough of this BBQ. I recommend the beef link poboy

Delicious! Friendly and helpful staff. I was just passing through, but I'll make it point to stop by from now on. Kind of rustic in it's decor.

I'd say the best in town. Amazing sandwiches and baked potatoes. You have to try the Rib Eye Sandwich. It is mouthwater and delicious!!!!
