Small place to take best. Vegan options are a hit or miss. The Falafel is the best I had in my life. I order it on a bed of greens instead of the pack, and also replace the aioli sauce with its wonderful tahini sauce. However, the Seitan packaging tastes terrible. You have these annoying today's specialties, which unfortunately contains the majority of the vegan options we order. They offer a discount for online ordering, but there is no way to change meals so you end up calling in your order anyway. The vegan options, I feel, do not contain sufficient amounts of protein. This is a common problem with traders on Long Island that offer vegan options.

We order from Batata often and love their menu (especially the turkey gouda and vegan spicy Caesar! , and so we ordered catering from them for our daughter's first birthday party this past weekend and could not have been happier! The bbq package was delicious, as were all of the sides. We also got a large sub, several side salads, and a latter of veggie/vegan sandwich and wrap options. Our guests raved about the food and the bbq was so incredibly tender and flavorful. Great place for every day, and also highly recommend for your next event!

Delicious vegan menu literally 5 different dishes this week on my 6th. The staff is professional, polite and nice. I love this place.
