I saved this place! We had a night in town since there was Christmas lighting and the city center was decorated! We decided to give this place an attempt and it was definitely a great choice! The atmosphere of this place is amazing and the woodworking inside is even more elegant! The whole table ordered Hungarian Goulash and we were impressed! The Bratbeef was perfectly cooked and laid over the correct amount of homemade potatoes and served with butter vegetables! In any case, would recommend coming to this clean place! SECOND TIME Ging and SAME TAKE AWAYS! This time something else tries because it was Schnitzel Thursday! I have the Munich Schnitzel and it was amazing! It was served with a potato salad and it was also amazing! Also recommend to give this place a visit!
Christina is absolutely wonderful!! She worked her ass from all the time we were here and did a fantastic work cared for us!!! We came here a few years ago Pre-Covid on a whim and loved it so much, we took a detour to Galveston only for dinner! Thursday evenings are beer and snare night. You have several versions of Schnitzel chicken, pork and veal and can be simple or have several different taste gravies. We had both calf very delicate and perfectly cooked. Spatzels, Potatoes, Coleslaw and Fritten are also possible. For dessert they have 3 different versions of crepes, a donut bread pudding and a fantastic death through chocolate cake with a vanilla ice cream shovel. Definitely the place for amazing German cuisine! We will be back!!!
Fantastic schnitzel, beer and other authentic German delicacies. The excellent service is very friendly and helpful. Large ambience with large tables and stands in a spacious dining room. The menu has beautiful selections from carving to bratwurst and yeast to double block. There are also some beautiful dessert selections including crepes with different fillings to choose from. The pages include sparrows, sauerkraut, potato salad and other German specialities. The Appetizers range from a German sausage cup to Bavarian Brezeln. Very comfortable, free parking on the street. If you like Irish liberations, the neighboring sister's house has a dozen beers to choose, including Guiness.
Bavarian pretzels are not worth it. Way better pretzels other places. But their schnitzels are delicious! The pasta side had more of a mild flavor which complimented the meat which had a bolder flavor, and their coleslaw was great (and I'm usually not a fan of coleslaw). I would go back for the schnitzels!
