My wife and I are here in Manizales for a couple months from San Francisco and we couldn't be happier to have found Bayrisch! Everything is house-made including the dangerously addictive pretzels and sausages. Their tiny menu includes nightly specials and a constantly changing handful of the best offered beers in town. There's always a mix of German and Colombian beers, but if you're lucky they'll have some from the craft brewery in Villa Maria. Most nights you'll find the owner, Manuel, making his rounds to ensure you're comfortable and well taken care of. This place is truly a gem. Make sure you save room for the strudel!
My friends told me about the little, bavarian restaurant, in Colombia. So I decided to try it. So I travelled from my Holidayrest in Pereira to Manizales and I was really imressed about the awesome food, the beautiful german ambiente and I really liked the Owner. We talked so much about Germany and he is so so friendly and kind! The food is all home and handmade and taste like heaven! It's easy to find, and everybody in the neighbourhood knows it! The Trip was worth it! :)
I found the restaurant, because local people told me about it. As I was there, I couldn't believed my eyes, once I entered, I felt instanly like home! I'm from Bavaria so my expectations were high, but really, the food, the service, the ambiance! Just like little germany in the middel of Colombia! I would go back anyday, anytime! Just too awesome!
I was in Colombia , for a coffee try Travel , and in Manizales too , im searched for a good Restaurant , and find it on TripAdvisor , so i checkt it out , because im from Germany (Bavaria) and it was amazing like home , the food , the ambiance and the service everything was perfect.
