We made a reservation for breakfast on sunday which starts at 9:30.Late for our crowd, but this is their start time, so we did what we had to do. There were several of us waiting for the doors to open and promptly at 9:30 we were shown to our tables. Previous comments on the temperature in the place were correct, or if I might clarify in our situation, their HVAC system was the issue. Air blowing to beat the band out of holes in the duct work which were missing diffusers. Apparently they cannot control this. I think I'd be speaking to the landlord. One table moved immediately. I don't normally suffer from the cold but this was a steady wind. Not so much cold, but windy. Some diffusers filling the holes in the duct work, would be a good start to maybe tame the breeze. So once we realized this was the way it was going to be, we hung in and our breakfast arrived promptly. The trip from the kitchen (which isn't that far) meals arrived tepid. I had the eggs benedict with smoked salmon and listed potatoes and fruit. Had they been hot they would have been very good. Cooled eggs are not my thing but I was starving and we already knew what we were up against with the strong north wind blowing from the duct work overhead. The next customers to sit where one group had already moved from, immediately complained about the breeze. There were 4 of us and each one pretty much enjoyed what they had, with the same comments....if it were hot it would have been that much better. It's noisy, we were in the larger room. The little chinese soup spoon of minced fruit is cute, a bit more to sink our teeth into would have been nice. It's certainly worth a try, we've been before and will probably go again, but we won't be in any big hurry. It's not a cheap greasy spoon type breakfast, therefore you had better get what you're paying for and be comfortable.Hot meals (if they are to be hot) and not be being blown out of the place. Staff were all very accommodating and attentive. We were in and out in just under an hour, not that we were rushed out but the weather system in there drove us out,We carried on to Coffee Culture to continue our visit with friends and warm up. Comment to Owner/operator get your climate and acoustics under control, it's ruining all the hard work you're putting into producing nice meals.Maybe this was just our bad luck to arrive on a day when there were difficulties with their A/C system, but it did produce the comments I've made here today.

I had never really been a fan of Eggs Benedict until I came across this place. (The home made hollandaise sauce is unreal!) In fact, I'd never even heard of this little hole in the wall until I read all the outstanding reviews here on Trip Advisor. It only took one visit to get me hooked, and now it's my go-to breakfast joint. It was always a very small restaurant and usually required a reservation, however they have recently expanded, now making it easier to get a table, and giving it a more relaxed/less congested feel. If you visit on a nice sunny day, the back patio is gorgeous. The prices are fairly high, but the quality of food justifies it. Not my favourite place for lunch or dinner - but certainly my #1 choice for a weekend brunch.

I went here last summer with my family for brunch. Wonderful atmosphere but there's definitely some things that could be changed. I had the vegan French toast, it was ok. I have had much better. The other thing that I remember is that our food took a very long time. We are a patient family but even my father was commenting on the wait times. However, I love the interior design and would go back again just for that. We need more places that look like this in oshawa.

What a great meal. The service was professional and swift. The food was beautifully presented and skillfully cooked. The veal, tender, and the Beef my husband ordered was cooked perfectly medium rare. The baked Brie yummy. My favorite QVA Ontario Wine and wonderful music completed our evening. If you can do save room for the desserts. They are so good to miss!Loved their Brunch, and now dinner... can't wait to our next visit!
