Wow, when in Arras, look no further to enjoy the ambience of the beautiful square and it's very French lifestyle!Bibovino had been recommended to us by Phil, a local tour guide, and as it turned out, we joined a small group of travellers. The selection of wines is very good, and the sommelier (owner?) is keen to assist. We loved sitting outside, watching life go by, kids playing soccer, lots of locals enjoying the gorgeous summers evening! We asked for a platter of local produce and wow, we were not disappointed, absolutely delicious! There were eight in our group, and the bread to complement the platter just kept appearing. We consumed many bottles of beautiful French wine, and once we had settled the l'addition, we were presented with a complementary glass of fortified wine, like a port, scrumptious! A very memorable evening, a place we would frequent if we lived here!
It doesn't pay a mine when you pass in front but it's worth stopping!!!A perfect welcome and service. the boss even brings you blankets if he ever sees that you are a little cold!!! pretty amazing to be mentioned. We ate meat and cheese dishes for the most part from local producers. a real treat! as to the wine and softs, nice surprises tasted on proposals of the boss who, sure of his products, has just seen!!!You will have understood that we have had an excellent time and I pull my hat to this merchant who for us, actually tonight a faultless one!
Wonderful find on the corner of square. Not touristy. Lovely owners doing something different in Arras. Whether you want a drink or buy some supplies or a meal, this IS the place to go. We would have gone again and again but they were heading on their well deserved summer break. Go and enjoy. This small venture really needs to thrive.
one of the best wine bars in the region! very familiar patterns, very warm, very attentive to the constant discoveries of grape variety ..... in bib ! Take the time of a drink (or 2) in the evening and let the boss take you away.I go there every week
