the brisket, ribs, smoked chicken breast, and the smashed pigtail were top kerbe. I had 5 of their 7 (or 6) sauces, all of which were great. they had described accordingly by the popular bangin sauce, to the sweet white sauce, the sweet honey sauce is the way to go. the sides were also very good. the owner recommended the potato salad, and I will say lists to this man! the green beans were seasoned for perfection and the mac n cheese was approved by the ancestors, straight ahead! I also ordered the smashed pork chop over rice, and my grandmother has been dead for at least 18 years, but I think she is in this kitchen with elvis and tupac, because no young buck occurs there again on these plates. short, they are worth whatever it takes to get there. what keeps me from a straight 5-star rating. as PITMASTER/CHEF/CERTIFIED bbq judge/ small business owner. is how the cut is cut. hear them, the portions were more than sufficient, the taste is worth going back for more, the tenderness moistness of the meat was mouth watering. but my two big slices were cut with the grain instead of against it. that may not be of importance in the great scheme of the dinge. but for those who bbq is more than just eating good, it is an art. that's important. b4 gets my full support and vote!
food: 4kustomer service: 5 location: 5 parking space: 5small: 5 reservations: not necessary this BBQ facility is located in the northeastern part of the columbia SC community. we decided to put a take-out order and try 3 of their page options at the last weekend, as we enjoyed others on their menu before. their customer service is always on the spot, and they cook everything fresh as it is ordered. during this visit I am not sure whether it was a free day or not, but the side benefits were not very good. the collar greens had too much sugar in them, the mac and the cheese was kind of dry and burned, and they didn't have much seasonal. but because I had her bbq meat before I feel like they were a solid 4-star establishment, with a little space for improvement. I really appreciate it being a black family business, and her staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. they have a small private parking space so if they are busy as parking can be challenging. the menu offers a wide selection of delicious and mouthwatering appetizers and main dishes that appeal to everyone.
Great experience, we put a order for pickup at 545pm I got a call around 540pm saying my order was ready. When I arrived gave a call and waited a bit then decided to go inside to geab the food. I was notified that they were not happy on how the porkchop looked so they re cooked it. I was very impressed by the attention to detail and setting the standard high for their food. I would and will go back with out hesitation.
I ordered some food for the first time from here via door dash and it was REALLY good. I got fried Turkey wings with rice and gravy, fried okra, cabbage, cornbread, smoked chicken, baked beans, and potato salad, and banana pudding. I liked the texture of the banana pudding it was silky. I would definitely order from here again.
