So, let 's talk about this experience! First, my wife surprised me with not only a bottle of single barrel Weller Antique 107 especially bottled for The Big Grove Tavern, but also a Weller tasting. This flight had a pour of W.L. Weller Special Reserve, Antique 107, Full Proof, and OMG Pappy 10-Year. Let 's be honest, if you are a whiskey fan, you know these are some great selections. However, this post is to recognize Scott, Jonathan, and Nate. These amazing dudes made us a fan and customer for life. As a self proclaimed whiskey enthusiast (of less than 2-years...lol), the knowledge these guys brought to the table will stick with me forever. Lets not forget the food either, we not only had amazing whiskeys, cocktails and mocktails, but also had brunch, appetizers, and a wonderful dinner. This day didn 't start off about making memories, but it sure ended up there. Thanks to Scott, Jonathan, and Nate we literally spent the entire day there and even had the rest of the family join us for dinner. The drinks, the food, and especially the service will have us coming back. THANK YOU!
This is a great (and imagination because it is quite expensive) American Brunch Square with many options both in the main course and in cocktails. The pot size is good for an individual. Fixed pictures are of smeared pig bell with Korean Bbq sauce and Hollandaise and avocado toast that we ordered with coffee. We really loved it! Absolutely come back. Very recommended.
Very open space with a lively atmosphere and many outdoor seating. Tried Burger and Pommes, both very good. Shrimps and grits with chorizo and that was very tasty and not too heavy. Also a pretty good cocktail list. Surely looks like one of the best offers in Champaign with reasonable but by no means cheap prices.
Beautiful location, comfortable terrace seating friendly handsome staff and delicious food. We had a puppy w/us, they brought a water bowl and extra glass of ice w/o ask. Her fresh watermelon Margarita was great.
