I finally had to try this little crack from the beaten away in Kennsaw, and I'm glad I did. I counted on the reviews of my roommates zomatoans and went with the rack rib and pulled combo with some mac n cheese. my dining room partner had a drawn cum with a sack of chips, and while quite pedestrian, that was delicious and a plentiful part. the ripening were the real standing here-smokey, fleshy and spiced to a t. I wish I had gone with half a rack and one side. mac n-cheese was just fine, but I still ate every bite! I chose the mnc over the green, but next time I will try it. I wish I could find out how to give half a star to this review in any case, but not quite one you just have to be this side of the sky to come with one, but this little jewel is close! I'm back!
I visit Big Shanty Smokehouse and always enjoy the quality both in the food and service. Everyone there has been wonderful each time I go. Sometimes it?s a work lunch and sometimes to go and I bring dinner home for the family. I?ve had almost everything onthe menu. The brisket is my favorite and go to with the Mac and cheese. There is consistency in flavor and the portions areenough to bring some for lunch the next day. The banana pudding is a must, even if you?re full get it to go and enjoy it later.So good.
I have eaten at many of the BBQ places in the area. First time at Big Shanty. I was pleased. Super friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Great sauce. The meats were good, not too dry, had bark and had some smoke flavor, but I prefer a a flavor whenyou just know it was smoked for hours. Rating: 4.5.
good bbq. not great. the rating is one of the highest I've ever seen so I had high expectations. bands were good, kartoffelsalat and buzzing. I think it could give you more bang for your ass with such an evaluation. but it was good!
