Came here on 2 separate occasions for lunch. Once right at 12 and once around 1. The first time I wasn't told an estimated wait time for my sandwich but I ended up waiting approx 18 mins. The second time I was told it would be a 10 min wait which turned into 23 mins. I understand it's the lunch rush but that's ridiculous. A lot of customers looked frustrated. The guy in front of me told the manager he waited 22 min and the manager said sorry of course but that's possibly another lost customer. It literally takes 1 min to slap a sandwich together so what frustrates me and I'm sure other customers are the sandwich makers working at a snails pace and talking too much. Heads down full speed during these busy times! People are on their lunch breaks from work and don't want to spend them waiting for a sandwich. The sandwiches are good. Nothing you can't make at home though. In 23 mins I could walk across the street from where I live and buy all my sandwich fixins and be back home, make my sandwich and be eating it. Pick up the pace or you're going to lose customers!
Tried this place a month ago and was less than impressed. Before writing a review I decided to give it another chance, since it had just opened before my first visit. First off, these sandwiches are cold. Secondly, there's nothing special about them. You can make a better sandwich in your kitchen. To add insult, they charge $3 for a 12oz Pepsi. Terrible value all around.
I am in love with the turkey, stuffing, cranberry sandwich, this was our first visit but its in the hood, they have since moved to Columbia street, still in New West, great value and wish I had one now.
