Bistro B

This was our third dinner at Bistro B and it is always such a treat. The food is divine, with complex flavors without feeling overly stuffy. Compared to some of the other highly rated Lyon restaurants we consider it far and away our favorite. Service is always excellent and informative with effort made to explain each dish and how it was prepared. The wine pairings are considered with great care, and act as a multiplier for the flavor of both themselves and the dishes. An absolute hidden gem in the 6th and I would 100% recommend.

My friend living in rue Duguesclin, we decided to try it for lunch on a Saturday and got a table,. A great find! We were not disappointed. Delicious starter of foie gras served with tomato chutney and sourdough, then a stunningly cooked and presented black cod. Finally, a delightfully decadent vanilla cream mille-feuile, a different take on the classic. Friendly and bilingual service, a casual, intimate setting, nothing pretentious. We will be back!

My husband and I had a fabulous dinner at Bistro B during a recent visit to Lyon. It's an intimate, casual restaurant with amazing food and service. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lyon. Also, very affordable!

Very good kitchen. Minimalist card. To redo it is some and all with a hyper attractive price.
