Bistrot Saint Georges

Excellent dinner on a comfortable terrace. I had a salade niçoise with fresh seared tuna, followed by a pluma de cochon noir ibérique (pluma of black Iberian pig) accompanied by carrot, pepper stuffed with puréed sweet potato, and a chorizo reduction for a bit of spice. I ended with a café gourmand. My wife had a daurade (sea bream) carpaccio and then duck breast with nectarine, passion fruit, and puréed sweet potato. She finished with a peach poached in vervaine. The food was uniformly excellent and well presented. Wine list is very short but well chosen. Service was friendly and attentive. We'll go back the next time we are in Nice.
