I've always wanted to try this place since it opened just haven't had the time until today, unfortunately I should've listened to the bad reviews. When I first entered I said hello and was not greeted but there was a friendly man on his way out that did say hello. I ordered the BBQ chicken, collard greens, yams, and a fish sandwich, the food wasn't very hot it was lukewarm. The chicken's was very dry like it was heated up and served, the greens I could definitely tell they were from out of the can 100%, and the yams weren't too bad. The fish on the fish sandwich did still have the tail and scales on it and wasn't seasoned at all. I really wish that my experience was better but unfortunately I will not be back.
Good food and good portions. I ordered Uber to eat and I wasn't disappointed. This is the baked chicken, white rice and cabbage with a piece of corn bread. Everything tasted amazing. The next day I ordered the same and added mac n cheese. I would not recommend the Mac n cheese (not get a picture), but everything else was delicious again. Not too expensive, although today everything is relatively expensive.
BK catered our daughters graduation party. It was a great experience everyone LOVED the food but the highlights are surely their: mac and cheese, greens, fried fish, potato salad, and fried chicken. Reasonably priced, great value, we are now repeat customers. Thanks again! Lauren and Collis Johnson
Went in at the end of their day. The Baked chicken was dry. The white rice is parboiled rice, bland. The green beans are from the can and pretty salty. The portion is pretty small for the size box they use.
