Boathouse At Forest Park

A great stop after the spending time on the water renting with Big Muddy Adventures right next door. With COVID happening, the indoor restaurant is closed. They have you find a seat yourself and order at the bar outdoors. We ordered the brisket toasted ravioli (appetizer), fried cod basket (main), and cheesy potato hash (side).They call your name when your food is ready and you pick it up from the bar. I thought the food tasted good! I thought the quality of the fried cod was great and I was impressed with the crisp. My husband felt the toasted ravioli was the best he's had in St. Louis, although I personally felt it was a bit doughy. While the cheesy hash tasted good, I was expecting more of a hash (diced and crunchy potatoes) and less shredded potatoes coated in cheese.

hallo! we had lunch in the boathouse in september 2021. just forget to write this review. after a bike tour, natalie suggested to eat here. we had veggie burger, chicken tweezers, waffeln and fruit. I probably had a local beer! it was very nice outside in september, sea view, nice quantity. many thanks to boathouse!

This place is so cute! We went for Valentine's day and had a lovely dinner. Interior is a cute lodge feel and looks out in the lake! We could see the sun set over the water. Would be great in warmer weather to sit on the porch. We really enjoyed the food and drinks as well as the atmosphere!

rode bikes in the forest park discovered that the boathouse had fried garnelen on Friday. the woman had garnel that I had pulled extra. both were excellent! so was the service ambiance.

We did not eat over here. But we rented paddle boats and kayak. They have lots of boats. The lake is big and beautiful.
